Department for “CHILDREN” is the DEPARTMENT OF PEDIATRIC AND PREVENTIVE DENTISTRY at MAIDS, making children SMILE. It provides not only a child-friendly atmosphere but also warm and caring doctors and staff. The dental treatment is done in a learning environment, teaching the children healthy dental habits by emphasizing prevention strategies. We offer a full spectrum of services for children at every stage of their lives, from infancy through adolescence and including those with special health care needs. We strive to improve pediatric oral health care and advance the specialty through education.We are committed to safe, high quality, evidence-based clinical practice, interdisciplinary team care, research discovery, community service, and advocacy for improved quality of life for the children of our country. COVID-19 Pandemic has led to difficulty in accessing oral health services thereby compromising the dental needs of children but at MAIDS, we have put into place new Coronavirus (COVID-19) protocols and infection control measures as recommended. We want to emphasize that the health and safety of our team members, our patients and their families remain our top priority
