Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences is a multispecialty tertiary care institution of excellence and has 9 specialty departments:

Each department has provision of dental chair unit system with all the requisite equipments for pre-clinical dental training and basic science as recommended by the Dental Council of India.

Each specialty has a separate floor with a separate clinical area for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The floor wise location is as follows:

Basement : Parking for faculty, Examination hall for 100 students, Centralized air compressor system, Medical gas pipeline, Vacuum plant, Fire alarm system with extinguishers, Central AC plant, Electrical control panel, Drug store, surgical store, stationary store.

Library

A functional departmental library with copies of relevant books & journals has been established. In addition to books and journals in the library interest, CD’s also exist. All the recent editions of books pertaining to the speciality and allied subjects as per recommendation of DCI are also available. All the journals of 88 titles of different dental specialties & allied subjects are made available.

MAIDS Phase-II

The soon-to-be operational Phase 2 building of MAIDS stands tall with avante garde facilities and equipments. With opulent infrastructure spanning over nine floors with ultra modern operation theatre, ICU, trauma centre, cleft clinic, tissue bank, preclinical laboratory, research and development wing and central sterile services department, MAIDS stands tall among its prodigies and boasts of the best-in-class infrastructure in a dental college.
